The Irish Institute of Medical Herbalists (IIMH) has always striven to support their members in attaining the highest level of professional expertise. This is to ensure patient safety as well as enabling members to be at the forefront of current research within herbal medicine. It is with this in mind that we set out to develop training for Medical Herbalists here in Ireland.

* – HETAC (now QQI) suspended the validation process for courses in Complementary Medicine. Therefore, until such time as the suspension is lifted and the course has been validated at MSc level an award of MSc cannot be offered.
However, the course is structured to mirror the requirements for an MSc award and all clinical training will be given by practitioners who themselves have been awarded an M.Sc from a validated course of study in or relevant to the field of Herbal Medicine.
